Our Story

Since 1997, Jose Valdez has provided premier painting and home improvement services to the Twin Cities metropolitan community. He began painting when he was a child growing up in El Salvador by painting the wooden crosses in his local cemetery on Dia De Los Muertos for centavos a cross.

When Jose came to Minneapolis, he was drawn to house painting. He decided to learn even more about home improvement by working for other contracting businesses. After some time, he believed that he could provide better painting for less. In March of 1997, he left the company he had been working for to start his own company. Brushabilities was born! Now over 25 years and countless happy customers later, son Will works alongside Jose.
